Qualifications: MBBS, DDV. Dr Zakir Ahmed is a dermatologist, venereologist and allergologist with over 35 years of experience. He is a retired professor from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and a gazetted freedom fighter. He graduated from Chittagong Medical College in 1978 and spent next few years gaining practical experience by working across different government health complexes with the last position being held as a clinical assistant (CA) in the Dermatology department of IPGMR (P.G Hospital) in 1983 for 2 years.
