He joined Bangladesh Civil Service in November 2008 and gained vast experience of working and managing with minimum logistic support in rural areas for 2 years. After that he continued serving as Government servant in National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) and Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College. He gained experience in various disciplines including teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He managed to run Rheumatology and Fever clinic there. He obtained his prestigious fellowship (FCPS) in Internal Medicine from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS). He has spent about 18 years in the field of medicine following graduation with a significant experience in Cardiology, Rheumatology and Gastroenterology.
