Qualifications: MBBS, DTCD (Chest disease), FCPS (Medicine). Professor Dr. Md. Soroar Hossain graduated from Rajshahi Medical College in 1995. After that he worked in different hospitals. In 1999 he joined at BIRDEM Hospital as Assistant Registrar in the Department of Neurology. Then he joined 20th BCS (Health) in 2001 and worked in different Hospitals like Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka Medical College etc. He completed his DTCD (Chest Disease) degree from National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital, Dhaka in 2004. After that he obtained his FCPS (Medicine) degree from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS) in 2015. He has been serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital since 2024.
