He earned his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College in 1998 and subsequently completed his MD in Radiology & Imaging from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 2008. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2017 and then to Professor of Interventional Radiology at BSMMU in 2022. Dr. Bhowmik has been an active participant in numerous seminars and conferences, both domestically and internationally, where he has shared his knowledge as a speaker.
